The colorful ambiance of the courtyard was relaxing, and Mark from Security brought a cheerful vibe whenever we encountered him. However, breakfast service was slow, prolonging the start of our day.

i was absolutely horrified by the tap water quality, not to mention the irritated staff who clearly needed a smile. i thought i’d at least get a free upgrade for my troubles, but that woudl ve been too much to ask. seriously, potatoes get treated better! almost left a good review, but just couldn’t. 🤷♂️

The Cara Lodge took me back in time with its historic wooden structure and beautiful courtyard. I loved lounging under the old mango tree while enjoying my morning coffee. The Executive Twin Room felt cozy, not overdone, and had a nice TV and coffee-making facilities. Housekeeping was quick and attentive, with fresh linens daily. The breakfast offered local flavors but could use more variety. the sausages didn’t quite hit the spot for me. One night, I noticed a slow response from the restaurant staff, making dinner take longer than expected. Plus, I ran into issues with the tap water quality, which had a strange odor. I expected better after reading the description. It's a lovely place, but little things like the water and service could definitely enhance the overall experience.

The historic architecture captivates with its colonial charm, centered around a pleasant courtyard perfect for relaxation. Clean Executive Twin Room features TV and coffee-making facilities, making for a cozy stay.
No elevator makes lugging bags to the second floor a hassle, which isn't ideal for those with mobility issues. Restaurant service can test your patience, especially during busy hours. ordering breakfast might require some extra time, so plan accordingly. Tap water quality occasionally raises concerns, presenting an unpleasant odor that may deter even the thirstiest traveler.

Had a great time staying with friends! The vibe is relaxed, and the staff was super friendly. We loved hanging out in the courtyard. The tour desk helped us find cool spots, and the luggage storage was handy. Definitely recommend trying the local dishes at the restaurant!
I did encounter a little hiccup with the safe in the room. It took a while for someone to come unlock it, which was a bit frustrating. Just a heads up for future guests!
